Growing up, I was the girl that got picked on for "my looks". My parents raised my sister and I in such a way, that "looks" didn't matter. It was instilled in us at an early age, to have a beautiful heart, brilliant mind, and loving spirit. I was shy, nerdy, awkward, and found it hard to "fit in" at school. I had very few friends and shied away from guys.
It took me years, and years, and years to become comfortable in my skin. I accept that my "looks" are a part of ME, and strive to carry myself in such a way that people are drawn to what I radiate from within. 👑🖤👑
